As to me, I hate books, I love DVDs! But, listen, all these efforts to find a universal weapon as White is a dead end route. Go classical and start the game with 1 e4 or 1 d4. They are the best opening moves ever invented. If your look for a sound repertoire with both, you can find one with Roman's Lab.
