Posted: 24.01.10 03:20. Post subject: How To Play Good Opening Moves in Chess
This brand-new revision, in modern algebraic notation, is sure to become a classic of chess instruction. It was written for the chess player who needs to understand, not memorize, the chess openings. The three basic principles of the opening are well established and will not change in the foreseeable future. By emphasizing these principles, the author has created a timeless teaching volume that can be used by students, parents, teachers, and others for years to come. | Thank-You CS for sharing this ! Just reading what your post says in this quote [above], wheted my appetite enough to want to d/l this. And here's a true confession from an "Old Schooler" ....... Being the avid reader that I've always been, it seems now-a-days that many prefer video over the written word. Well, I first learned to play this beautiful game from a book, and not from my Dad or my brother or a friend ; so maybe that kind-of explains my passion for the written word ! Keep 'em comin' ! I, for one, really appreciate and read ALL of your posts ! Gracias !
