Yes immortal, it's rather old but it seems that it has been published right now (at least as free download).

And BTW: an old book is just the right thing for an old guy like me ...

Mucho Thanks CBF ! Ihad not seen or heard about this yet ..... so it's all new for me ! And being the Hiarcs fan that I am, I'm anxious to give this a whirl.

By the way ...... I had to finally bite the bullet and retire my old 4GB HD with Win98 OS . I managed to cop a 40GB Western Digital HD from Craig's List for 5$, but my old machine couldn't handle XP, so I've settled on Win 2K.

Allow me to edit my previous post. I guess when I saw the 12[b].1[/b], I assumed it was an improved .ctg book over the 12. Well, it isn't. It's what I had all along ...... The H12 .ctg opening book. But I do appreciate the 'heads up' from CBF

Sorry, but I just wrote what the official Hiarcs homepage stated:
"Download free HIARCS 12.1 Chessbase opening book in ctg format 23Mb"
